Croydon Pride is 10 years old in 2026, shifting to later in the year, and also to Braithwaite Halls (of the Town Hall) + BOXPARK!

Less corporate, more community than the big Pride in central London; no parade floats. A stage of live acts, speeches. Meet other bi+/queer locals! Its a FREE event. We're more noticeable in smaller-scale, friendlier, more community-focused Prides like this.

Parade info below, then Festival info. They require tickets for the festival, or you can march with us for entry, or volunteer at the stall (arrange in advance).

🟣 Agenda:
We parade from M&S on North End with our flags/banners and placards straight down the road towards Braithwaite Hall and the community stalls, finishing outside Grants, round the corner from the festival (croydonpride.org.uk/whats-on/parade-route/).
If enough people, we march with one or both of our GIANT (5 meter) Bi/Pan flags, which need 6-8 people per flag. Otherwise banner(s), a flagpole, placards, flags (we can give/sell some flags).

10:45am: Meet outside Marks and Spencer, North End, with banners, placards, flags, badges, pride outfits, whatever you have (dogs welcome but not in the park).
Don't forget water, weather protection (sunscreen/hat/parasol or bi umbrella?), and pride gear - bi/pan/omni flags, placards.
Look for our huge flag or possible banner / multiple smaller bi themed items together to find us if its your first time. Or ask a steward if they know us.
Arrive by 11:10 so we know whether we have enough people to prepare a banner/huge flag(s) and can get enough wristbands (use it for festival access later too)! Takes time to get ready (more advice/requirements at their page for it; we're a registered group).
11:30am (ish) Parade sets off, led by mayor; with music from the Pengenista Drummers.
~12pm - parade arrives at festival (see info below).

Event originally created by the new (gay) mayor, 2016, as stalls and a street party in Church Street. It moved around in early years, and then to Wandle Park for several years; but last year (org. changes, short notice) used the high street and BoxPark/town halls this year (due costs of Park hosting).

Google Map image posted as an event photo, with parade route from M&S to Grants in darker blue, following to Braithwaite Hall on Katharine Street in cyan light blue and over to BOXPARK via Park Lane in magenta pink.
