Our regular pub social meet on the 4th Thursday of every month. I'm away this month as many of the regulars will know (will be my first ever missed pub social meet as organiser I think, though I was so incredibly busy for January's I almost forgot about it), but they'll help keep it running just as usual. I'm back for the March regular meet.

These meets are great for new members to come and say hi and get a feel for the group. We have a good attendance (25-30ish) to this meet, always with a good mix of regulars and first-timers, guys and girls. Other events happen at random between these socials, with things like dinners, clubbing nights, comedy, plays or anything else you can suggest that gets interest!

If you haven't been, regulars and first-timers will confirm that its a very friendly, open and welcoming environment to hang out in, evidenced by members' reviews (https://www.meetup.com/london-bisexuals/about/comments/?op=all) (also see attendee notes on each past event's info page).

We currently meet upstairs at the O Bar in Soho, with comfy sofas. There might not be a meetup.com logo this month but usually there is one on a table (though any regulars ready to print it out and take one, please contact me and I can email a document). Expect a normal bar sort of mood, atmosphere, and chat levels - sometimes bi-related, often not; cocktails and a basic choice of beer rather than any ales, but of course soft drinks also available. We do our best to influence the staff not to have the music too loud to allow talking, its much quieter than the ground-floor's club-like volume level; at least until late 'eve. A little warning: if you turn up later (maybe 8.45pm-ish onwards) and the pub happens to be averagely or more busy, it might be hard to get in or to upstairs with a wait for someone else to leave (from another group, not usually ours) before you can enter. Tell them you're there for John G's meetup group upstairs, with booked tables, and that should ease getting upstairs, and bring photo ID if you've been asked for it at all recently anywhere (they have been known to be picky).

We have a twitter presence ( londonbi (http://twitter.com/londonbi)), and a facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/London-Bisexuals-Meetup-Group/148365155200607) (but the meetup site and sometimes twitter are where the info/activity is).

Finding O Bar (http://the-obar.co.uk/)

The O Bar is at 83-85 Wardour St, right on the corner of Brewer St and Wardour Street, near Leicester Square / Piccadilly Circus and not so far from Oxford Circus tube either. Its opposite the end of Old Compton St. furthest away from Charing Cross Rd and Leicester Square tube. Don't be afraid to ask groups if they're the meetup group or call me to check where we are, or hang around a bit if you're early. By later on we've usually taken over much of upstairs so the large group there will be us (usually in the center not round outsides of bar). We have reserved tables from 7.30pm upstairs in the clubroom and are there til at least 10.30pm, sometimes til 1am when they close (maybe even clubbing after if enough of us fancy it).
