About us
Greetings Everyone!
Founded in 2006, this group was created by Canadians for Expat Canadians, their friends, those who have lived in or are planning on heading to Canada or are interested in The Great White North! Having a membership of over 3000 members, we are one of the largest active Canadian ex-pat Meetup groups in the world. We meet on a regular basis, before the Covid-19 pandemic we would meet as a group in person at least three times a month, now we are meeting online on a weekly basis. Should anyone have a suggestion for an event or activity feel free to email the leadership team and we can sort it out! We look forward to seeing many new and old faces at our next meet-up!

A bit of late notice this month! I’ve just got back from Canada, but it wouldn’t feel right to let August go by without getting everyone together for our monthly catch-up at The Maple Leaf.
So, if you’re free this Friday, come along for a drink, some Canadian conversation, and a chance to catch up after the summer holidays.

Leader, The London Expat Canadian Meetup GroupAbout the London Vandoos
The Vandoos is a group of like-minded and unlike-minded Canadians who get together on the 22nd of each month (or near about) at a selected London pub to meet new people and catch up with old friends. Guests and "honourary" Canadians are always welcome. The London Vandoos was originally formed as a Yahoo group and is the social arm of Network Canada.
Past Network Canada President Dave Mathews organizes the monthly Vandoos Meetups. The evenings are very similar to the Monthly Monday night wings event... without the wings!
The venues are announced roughly six to eight weeks before the event. Keep the 22nd of each month circled; something will be happening around that date!
