🇨🇦🎉 20 YEARS! THE BIG LONDON EXPAT CANADIAN MEETUP GROUP ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION! 🎉🇨🇦

Twenty years ago, on Tuesday, 7 November 2006, a group of Canadians in London got together for the very first official event of what would become the London Expat Canadian Meetup Group.
Twenty years later... we're still here! 🇨🇦
And that deserves a party.
On Saturday, 7 November 2026, exactly 20 years to the day after that first Meetup, we're getting together to celebrate two decades of Canadians meeting Canadians, friendships made, newcomers welcomed, pints raised, Thanksgivings celebrated, Canada Days enjoyed and an extraordinary number of nights out in London!
Over those 20 years, thousands of Canadians and friends of Canada have passed through our events. Some came to London knowing nobody. Some came for one event and stayed for years. Friendships have been made, relationships have started, careers have been helped along and an entire community has grown around something very simple: Canadians getting together in London.
We've made it through changing venues, changing times, a pandemic and even a few Canadian winters away from home. When we couldn't meet in person, we went online and kept the community going.
And now we're celebrating 20 years together.

If you joined us in 2006, come back and celebrate.
If you joined last week, you're just as much a part of what comes next.
And if you've been meaning to come along to your first event, this is the one.
There will be plenty of reminiscing, plenty of laughs, probably a few stories that have improved considerably with age, and most importantly, a chance to celebrate the people who have made this community what it is.
