Using Excel as a Reporting and Analysis Tool for Power BI Data | Chris Webb
Details
In this meetup, we will hear from Chris Webb, Principal Program Manager at Microsoft on the Power BI Customer Advisory Team.
Many of you may know Chris from his blog (crossjoin.co.uk) or his appearances over the years at different conferences and meetups.
Once you have built a Power BI dataset there are several options for displaying the data in it: classic Power BI reports, paginated reports and Excel.
This session is all about the third option, Excel. You’ll learn how to connect Excel to a Power BI dataset and use PivotTables, Excel cube functions and the new Excel data types to build reports that work in both Excel on the desktop and in Excel Online.
This is an in-person event held in London.
This event will not be recorded or streamed online.
I look forward to seeing you there.
