A spring Bank holiday extravaganza exploring the iconic North Yorkshire coastline close to the seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby.
Scarborough is a substantial seaside town that should provide us all with plenty of entertainment for group nights out, it has an old harbour and is next to a rugged coastline.
The North York Moors coast is a section of coastline that is one of around 40 so called ‘Heritage Coasts’ around the UK.
On one of the hikes the group will visit Whitby at the end of the hike which is famous for its Abbey ruins, cobbled Georgian streets. It was the inspiration for some of the locations of Bram Stoker’s Gothic 1890 novel ‘Dracula.’
