What we’re about
Power BI is the data service from Microsoft that is creating a real buzz in the analytics and business intelligence community. Business users can get data from almost any source, visualise it and share their insights. It also has great power under the covers to do sophisticated data preparation and modelling and build beautiful dashboards. Users can ask questions of their data with natural language and Power BI will do it's best to answer you .
This group will help you get started with Power BI. We'll offer a mix of introductory talks but we'll also have some sessions for the experts as well. Some of the events will be hands-on.
We meet monthly in Central London on a weekday evening. Please come along - you will be sure of a warm welcome.

SQLBits is the leading conference for data professionals to network, develop and share data knowledge. This year the conference is being held at London ExCel and as usual we are hosting a SQLBits special user group at the conference venue.
The format will be an Ask Me Anything session for a panel made up of special guests including Microsoft product group, CAT team and MVPs. If you have any burning Power BI or Microsoft Fabric questions - this is the place to be!The user group will take place on Thursday June 19th at 6pm and run until 7pm – between the last session and the pub quiz.
To attend the session, you must be signed up to SQLBits to attend on one of the days of the conference, but not necessarily the Thursday. Please register for the event by adding it to your SQLBits schedule as well as here on Meetup.
