London 20 & 30s Community | The Great Friendship Project

Another Sunday. And to make the most of another Summer weekend, we've lined up a special Social Walk & Pub trip, exclusively for 20s and 30s.

Yep and for this latest free Sunday walk, we’ll be heading back to one of the most popular hiking spots in the capital, Hampstead Heath in North London.

As always before heading off on the hike, you'll be allocated a group/team for an initial mix of fun and light-hearted games, designed to help you break the ice and get to know your fellow walkers a little better.

After the games and everyone is warmed up for walk, we’ll then set off on our 2-3 hour hike across the heath.

Along the way, we will wander past the stately home, Kenwood House and the famous Parliament Hill viewing point overlooking London.

We will then ramble through the stunning ancient woodland, Highgate Wood before finally before ending up at a pub in Muswell Hill, where you'll be able to relax, have a drink and chat with those you've met on the walk.

WHERE/WHEN WE WILL MEET

We don’t do boring Wednesdays and so on 18th June, we’re hugely excited to be hosting our latest Laser Quest activity night to spice up your midweek.

Yep that's right, we’ll be heading back to London's largest indoor laser tag arena, Laser Quest Greenwich for an adrenaline-fuelled evening of social fun.

To kick off the night, we've booked out a space beforehand, where you can have some social drinks, meet and connect with your fellow 20s and 30s, ahead of the main event.

If you've not done Laser Tag before, it's a fast-paced game where you use laser guns to “shoot” opponents and dodge incoming fire, in a purpose-built battle arena.

Much like paintball (without the bruises), the goal is to score points by successfully shooting as many rivals as possible while avoiding being hit yourself.

And over the evening, we will be fighting in a series team battles, with points earned for every successful "kill", with both individual and team scores tracked on a leaderboard.

Best of all, whilst Laser Tag experiences can cost over £25pp - we've managed to secure an incredible discount for the community, so this whole evening of immersive, social fun is just £10.65pp!

It should be a really enjoyable night and we'd love to see lots of you there but sadly, these places are more limited than usual.

We have tables booked at a pub nearby beforehand at 6:45pm for drinks.

However, we'd kindly as that you arrive no later than 7:15pm, so we can head to the venue together.

On Friday 20th June, we're really excited to kick off a weekend with something a little different... our latest Live Comedy Night.

And this time we’re heading to the Big Fat Festival on the Southbank for an evening of laughter and great company.

Think of it as the Edinburgh Fringe of the Southbank, a comedy festival packed with some of the UK’s best rising and established comedians.

To kick off the night, we’ll start at a nearby pub for social drinks, so you can meet fellow 20s and 30s, before heading over to one of the festival's comedy locations.

We'll then be heading to their big Friday Night Gala event, featuring a brilliant mix of rising stars and circuit legends, including comedians with viral specials, Edinburgh sell-outs, Comedy Central sets, and millions of views between them online.

On Sunday 22nd June, we're hugely excited to be hosting our latest FREE Board Games Afternoon, exclusively for 20s and 30s.

Yep, that's right - we're back and as always, we've booked out a big private space in central London and we’ve got a fantastic collection of some of the most popular games that you’ll be able to choose from.

From classics like Exploding Kittens and Uno, social deduction games like Secret Hitler and Werewolf, to party games like Codenames and Chameleon, you’re sure to find something you’ll love.

On top of this, you're also welcome to bring your own games that you love or have been excited to play with a group, providing they are short, easy to learn and accessible games.

Best of all, over the course of the afternoon, you'll be able to mix around, meet lots of other 20s and 30s whilst playing a range of different games.
