What we’re about
Set up in November 2021, The Great Friendship Project was set up to help 20s and 30s meet, connect and hopefully build life-long friendships.
To help make this happen, we also host 3-4 weekly events from free social walks, games evenings, day trips, social events, activity nights to picnics.
You can bring a friend to our events or come alone, our events will give you an opportunity to make new friends and have a ton of fun while you're at it.

Another Sunday, and this week we’re excited to be heading to one of North London's most famous landmarks for our latest Spring social walk.
Yep for this latest free Sunday walk, we'll be hiking from the famous Ally Pally to Finsbury Park.
The walk will start by the entrance of the Alexandra Palace Rose Garden and to start the event, you will be allocated a group/team for an initial mix of fun games designed to get people talking and help you to get to know some of the other participants on the walk a little better.
From there, we will head across the grounds of the palace towards the ancient woodland, Highgate Wood. The woodland is home to a range of wildlife and is one of the most stunning summer hiking spots.
We will then wander down the longest nature reserve in London, the Parkland Walk to Finsbury Park where you can grab a drink, play some games and get to know your fellow hikers a bit better.
As always, sadly we will be having to cap numbers for these events. And so do make sure you nab your place as soon as you can - as we will be having to turn off RSVPS when we’re nearing the capacity limit.

On Sunday 28th April, we're excited to be hosting our latest FREE Board Games Afternoon, exclusively for 20s and 30s.
Yep that's right - we loved the Board Games afternoons over the winter months, and so this Sunday - we'll be finishing off the weekend with another afternoon of fun social games and great company.
And as always, we've booked out a big private space in central London and we’ve got a fantastic collection of some of the most popular games that you’ll be able to choose from.
From classics like Cards Against Humanity, social deduction games like Secret Hitler and Werewolf, to party games like Codenames and Scrawl, you’re sure to find something you’ll love.
On top of this, you're also welcome to bring your own games that you love or have been excited to play with a group, providing they are short, easy to learn and accessible games.
Best of all, over the course of the afternoon, you'll be able to mix around, meet lots of other 20s and 30s, whilst trying out some of the very best titles in our collection.
So if you're looking to play some games, meet new people, and have a laugh then we'd love to have you join us for this.

Not open - Run.Dance - Twilights Social Run | London 20s and 30sPier Point Cafe, London
We don’t do boring Wednesdays and so this week, we’ll be teaming up with the makers of Chicken Rush, for a brand new social running concept… Run.Dance.
Yep you’ve read that right, after 2 years of social walks and a fair amount of requests, next Wednesday - we’ll be heading out on our very first social run.
As the name suggest, this “Twilights” Social Run will take place just as the sun begins to set in Battersea Park.
And to start off the event, we’ll be doing a few fun little warm-up activities to help get you limbered up and ready for the main event.
But this is no ordinary social run, as to mark this special event - this Wednesday run will be hosted by a live DJ, who’ll be some banging tunes directly to your bluetooth headphones.
And we've handpicked a range of songs to keep you energised and motivated along the way, and we’ll also be providing encouragement to see you through till the end of the run.
So to be both fun and accessible, the run will be around 5k and at a leisurely pace for all low-to-mid level runners, with an optional final burst for those keen to release some of that post-work stress.
And of course, no social run would be complete without a trip to a nearby pub where we’ve booked out our own private area for drinks, so you can get to know your fellow runners a little better!

- FULL - Silent Disco Party & FREE Pub Crawl | London 20s and 30sWestminster Arms, London£7.45
By popular demand, this Friday we’re really excited to be hosting a very special event... our latest Silent Disco Party!
Yep that’s right, since our last one - we've had a number of requests for another of these events and we've listened!
To start the night in style, we've organised a pub crawl around some of our favourite pubs in central London to give you chance to grab a drink and get to know some of our community a little better.
When you've had chance to loosen up for the night ahead, we'll then be heading to one of the hottest Silent Disco Parties in London, taking place in an amazing underground crypt in Central London.
If you’ve never been to a silent disco, think of it as an amazing club night… with the same energy, dancing, and fantastic music – but with a twist.
Instead of the music being controlled by a single DJ, everyone will receive their own personal set of wireless headphones and you'll have 3 channels to choose from, giving you complete control over the music and the volume!
But these aren't generic music channels, they'll be controlled by a team of top DJs, each will be busting out some great tunes - from club anthems, pop classics and epic party mixes, all designed to win your attention and get you dancing.
And best of all, whilst silent discos that take place in the capital can cost over £30, we've secured an amazing deal, so that you can enjoy a night of amazing music and great company for just £7.45pp!
It’s sure to be an unforgettable night, so dust off your dancing shoes and join us on Friday!
