London Gays runs hosted social events for gay men in London. Our socials are relaxed, welcoming and easy to walk into, especially if you are coming on your own.
Established in 2015, we are now one of the largest gay men's Meetup groups in the UK, with 4,000+ members and 200+ meetups hosted.
Why people join

To meet gay men in London in real life, away from apps.
To build a wider social circle in a friendly gay men's space.
To come along solo, with friends, or with a partner.
To feel comfortable whether you are a regular, a newcomer, new to London, recently out, or recently single.

What we run

Soho Saturday Socials, usually every second Saturday from 3pm.
Barnet socials for North London and South Herts members.
Quizzes, seasonal socials and occasional special events.

Main socials usually bring together around 50-60 guys. Around 15-20% of attendees are newcomers, so you will not be the only one walking in without knowing everyone.
If you are new

Arrive near the start if you can.
Say hello to the host when you arrive.
We can help with introductions before the room gets too busy.

RSVPs and contributions

Please RSVP only if you are fairly sure you can attend.
If plans change, update your RSVP as early as possible.
Soho socials are pay what you can; the typical contribution is £3.
Barnet socials are free, but please buy a drink from the bar as that is part of how the space is reserved.

Who this group is for
London Gays is a gay men's group for gay men aged 18+. We started with a strong over-35 profile and still have a broad age range, while around 15% of attendees are under 30.
Gay male friends are welcome. If you are not a gay man, another LGBTQ+ Meetup group may be a better fit.
Code of conduct

Be kind, respectful and welcoming.
Respect personal boundaries.
Avoid intrusive questions.
Help keep the space relaxed and safe for gay men meeting in real life.

London Gays is not a dating or hook-up group, although friendships and relationships naturally happen when people meet regularly.
