About us

GraphCentric London is a meetup for people interested in building data-centric, semantic, web-native software.

GraphCentric is an open project exploring a different model for business applications: instead of scattering logic and data across isolated apps, the system is built around RDF knowledge graphs, SPARQL, HTTP resources, named-graph access control, JSON-LD, and reactive server-driven interfaces.

Our meetings are open to anyone curious about these ideas. You do not need to already know GraphCentric, RDF, or SPARQL.

We will cover topics such as:

  • Knowledge graphs and semantic web architecture
  • RDF, JSON-LD, Turtle, SPARQL, and SHACL
  • Data-centric application design
  • Named graphs, access control, and AI-safe data access
  • Building web resources from graph data
  • Server-rendered and reactive web interfaces
  • DataStar, SSE, and HTML patching
  • Agent-friendly systems and LLM access to governed data
  • Practical web development patterns beyond conventional CRUD apps

The goal is to bring together software developers, data architects, semantic web practitioners, startup builders, researchers, and technically curious people who want to discuss and build systems where data is the durable centre of gravity.

Meetups may include talks, demos, architecture discussions, hands-on sessions, project updates, and informal conversations. Some sessions will focus directly on GraphCentric; others will explore adjacent technologies and ideas in the wider semantic web, linked data, AI, and web development ecosystem.

If you are interested in RDF, SPARQL, knowledge graphs, linked data, AI-ready enterprise systems, or just better ways to build software on the web, you are very welcome.
Shorter version if Meetup feels cramped:
GraphCentric London is a meetup for people interested in data-centric, semantic, web-native software.

GraphCentric is an open project exploring application architecture built around RDF knowledge graphs, SPARQL, HTTP resources, JSON-LD, named-graph access control, and reactive server-driven interfaces.

The group is open to developers, data architects, semantic web practitioners, researchers, startup builders, and anyone curious about better ways to build software where data is the durable centre of gravity.

We will discuss GraphCentric itself, but also adjacent topics including RDF, SPARQL, SHACL, JSON-LD, linked data, knowledge graphs, DataStar, SSE, server-rendered UI, AI-safe access control, agent-friendly systems, and practical web development.

Expect talks, demos, architecture discussions, hands-on sessions, and informal conversation. No prior GraphCentric experience required.
