Members are welcome to join me at this great little venue that most people aren't yet aware of in Nine Elms to see a great young British pianist premiere her new album. It's part of the London Jazz Festival.

I first saw Rebecca Nash probably over a decade a go playing when we used to do regular meetup club nights in St Paul's.

Firmly established as one of the most exciting contemporary jazz composers/band leaders in the UK, pianist Rebecca Nash is now garnering an international reputation for her distinctive sound, full of artistry and heart.

Redefining Element 78 is the follow-up album to Rebecca’s highly-celebrated debut release, the genre-defying Peaceful King. Her music blends bold melodies with electronic elements and grooves, placing them within ethereal harmonic soundscapes. So, sounds like it'll be fun.

World Heart Beat is a recording studio by day, and a jazz and music salon at night - it's very small, only about 50 seats, so if you're interested in coming along to this, buy your ticket soon (I purchased seat E2). When I purchased mine, looked like there were a good few seats left. Because it's a studio, the sound system is second to none.

Because it's allocated seating, and not that many to boot, I'll keep this a small meetup; however, there is a coffee bar as part of the venue where we can meetup and chat ahead of time, and it's fairly close to the new Northern Line tube stop.

Tickets are £22:50 - you can purchase them here.

Only RSVP if you intend to come.
