About the Stan Brunt Quartet
(Stan Brunt - Guitar, Reuben Goldmark - Piano, Lorenzo Morabito - Bass, Kai Macrae – Drums)
Stan Brunt is an award winning Jazz guitarist and composer from Leeds, who has moved to London to study at the Royal Academy of Music. Currently in his fourth and final year, he has received tuition from some of the best players and teachers on the UK and European music scene. He combines a mix of contemporary and older styles in his playing and writing, creating a unique and special sound.
From what I've heard online it sounds very straight-ahead, but promising, and supporting new young talent should be what the meetup is all about.
Karamel has general seating, and also offers vegan food on the night (until 2130h) if that's your thing.
This is outside zone 1, but near a Tube Station - and if you live in London, you should remember that there are plenty of small venues in the suburbs that need the support of jazz fans.
