Jazz On The Plaza feat. Kerry Williams on sax w. Terence Collie & Esther NG

This month’s Jazz on the Plaza features a very special guest: UK-based American saxophonist Kerry Williams, known for his expressive tone and fiery improvisation steeped in the hard bop tradition. He’ll be joined by Oxford-based Singaporean bassist Esther Ng, whose driving groove and melodic sensibility make her a rising name on the UK scene plus the excellent Terence Collie on Fazioli grand piano .

Expect a mix of jazz standards and compositions rooted in the classic Blue Note repertoire — anticipate high-energy swing, tight interplay and soulful solos in the intimate setting of Café Yukari.
