Boisdale is delighted to welcome back acclaimed trumpeter Jay Phelps and his all-star jazz ensemble performing Miles Davis’ landmark album Kind of Blue in full for one unforgettable evening.
This exceptional performance brings the album to life exactly as it was conceived - with space, restraint, and quiet intensity - delivered by an elite line-up of award-winning UK musicians who honour both the spirit and precision of the original recording. Listen in real time to classic standards including:
- So What
- All Blues
- Freddie Freeloader
- Flamenco Sketches
The performance sits within a wider celebration of Miles Davis’ legacy, following Jay Phelps' acclaimed, sold-out run of the stage production MILES. at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025. The newly extended version transfers to Southwark Playhouse Borough in 2026, marking 100 years since the birth of Miles Davis.
Set within the intimate, refined surroundings of Boisdale, this special evening pairs world-class live jazz with the venue’s renowned hospitality - including award-winning cocktails, an exceptional selection of fine wines and rare whiskies, and a gourmet menu crafted to complement this timeless music.
