Please join me, Damian Nueva and his Quintet for an evening of too good to stand still kind of jazz. With his quintet, Damián delivers a powerful Afro-Cuban groove infused jazz.

Damián Nueva is a Cuban double bass player, composer and actor based in Paris. He grew up immersed in a rich mix of classical, Afro-Cuban and jazz traditions. Trained by Orlando López “Cachaito” of the Buena Vista Social Club, he has performed internationally and appeared on major stages such as the Chicago Theatre and the New Victory Theater on Broadway. His most recent album Orisun is inspired by the vibrant sounds of the streets of Havana and reflects a bold and contemporary vision of Afro-Cuban jazz.
