'Cabaret Cubana' with Ann Liebeck, Julian Rowlands, Omar Puente, Emma Blanco, Jonny Liebeck and Paul Moylan

Ann Liebeck (Violetta's Last Tango), Julian Rowlands (Midnight Tango) and the great Cuban Jazz violinist Omar Puente present a Cuban Cabaret evening at Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly Circus with a five piece band including surrogate Latino Jonny Liebeck, jazz piano.
Opera and Tango singer Ann Liebeck, acclaimed for Violetta’s Last Tango (Wiltons Music Hall) (★★★The Times of London ★★★★Edinburgh Festival Fringe) presents the best of Astor Piazzolla’s little known theatrical tango ballads in a long awaited album launch, ‘Tangos for Angels and Demons’, to be released this Autumn.

Accompanied by band leader and internationally renowned bandoneonist Julian Rowlands (Midnight Tango, Olivier nominated) and violinist Emma Blanco of Tango Siempre, alongside the multi award winning great Cuban jazz violinist Omar Puente, the artists present a Latin music cabaret of tangos, beloved Cuban numbers and retro French cabaret songs as performed by Caterina Valente, Josephine Baker, Piaf and Dietrich. They also perform new songs by Ann and Julian, all in their own arrangements. Young jazz pianist and composer Jonny Liebeck ([https://www.latinolife.co.uk/articles/surrogate-latino-6-jonny-liebeck-…](https://www.latinolife.co.uk/articles/surrogate-latino-6-jonny-liebeck-latin-jazz-pianist-and-bandleader)) and Paul Moylan (She’Koyokh), composer and bassist, complete the line-up.
