London Ladies' Childfree by Choice

Are all your friends having babies and moving to the burbs? This women-only meetup is specifically for those who are childfree by choice—not “not yet” or “maybe someday,” but consciously and intentionally living without plans for children.

Community Goals:
The goal is to foster community with other like-minded women in a way that is social, supportive, and grounded in shared experience—using this lifestyle as our hub, not our whole identity. To start, we’ll meet once a month for a relaxed dinner focused on connection, conversation, and shared understanding, without pressure to explain or justify personal choices.

Meeting in a childfree-by-choice space often brings a specific kind of ease, including:

• No interrupted conversations because a child is present or expected
• No default focus on school schedules or childcare logistics
• Time and attention that stay with the people at the table
• A shared rhythm where priorities and pacing don’t require explanation

We hope everyone leaves a meetup feeling seen, while also connecting on more than just being childfree. Think of it as a filter that allows room for good food, thoughtful conversation, and genuine connection—where being childfree is simply assumed, respected, and shared.

As the group grows, additional meetups centered around specific interests or events may be added. The aim is to build a well-rounded, supportive community for women navigating an off-the-beaten-path lifestyle. Let's build community!

Before requesting to join:

• When requesting to join the Meetup group, please take a moment to answer the membership questions thoughtfully.
  • Requests that are blank or extremely brief may not be approved. The questions simply help maintain a community built on genuine participation and shared understanding.
• You must have a Meetup profile photo that clearly shows your face in order to have your request for membership approved. This helps members recognize each other at events and supports a safe, consistent, and comfortable group environment. For fairness and clarity, all members are held to the same standard.
