Welcome to the London LGBTQ+ Dinner Club.
We are a friendly group that welcomes everyone regardless of where you are on the spectrum on sexuality or gender identity and expression.
The group was founded by Ian, who ran the successful London Gay Men's Dinner Club for eight years and the same warmth and welcome that that group was known for is now reaching out to all in the LGBTQ+ community.
We will meet once a month to go for dinner at a restaurant in London. We will meet for pre-dinner drinks first before heading to that month's chosen restaurant. There may be months where we have a social gathering at a pub/bar but generally we will be meeting to go out for food. Restaurant recommendations are always welcome.
The aim of the group is to meet and make new friends and be a welcoming, friendly and inclusive group of LGBTQ+ people.
The one rule for dinner is that we split the bill by how many attend. This avoids awkwardness and (from years of experience) the tricky task of figuring out individual amounts. If you do not agree with this, then please do not sign-up for events.
Keep an eye out for events as they are announced on Meetup. It will be great to welcome you and any friends you have to the group.

July's Dinner Club takes us back to the delightful Boulevard Brasserie in Covent Garden. A lovely restaurant that has hosted us many times over the past few years.
Serving sophisticated French classics since 1991, Boulevard Brasserie is the tour de force of French gastronomy in London’s West End.
We invite guests to experience a taste of quintessential French cuisine with a menu meticulously crafted around the principles of quality and seasonality, proudly showcasing beloved classics such as Steak Tartare, Boeuf Bourguignon, and Moules Marinière.
Set over three floors with décor reminiscent of 1960’s Paris Theatreland, our elegant and chic setting draws in a diverse crowd of locals, tourists, businesspeople, and enthusiastic theatregoers.
We are a bustling venue that provides the perfect place to soak up Covent Garden’s unique and vibrant atmosphere, whether it be for lunch, dinner, or afternoon tea.As we are a large group, we will be choosing dishes from the set-menu which can be viewed by following the link below.

Dinner at Boulevard Brasserie is at 7.30pm - however, if you wish to start the evening early, come along for a pre-dinner drink at Retro Bar on George Court (just off The Strand) from 6pm. This is good chance to meet other diners, welcome newcomers or catch-up with those who have been before. I will try and book a space for us, but as it is the evening before London Pride - it may be quite busy at the pub.
Following Dinner, some of the group often move on to another venue for post-dinner drinks - this is decided on the night.
To secure your space (which is limited to 16) you will need to RSVP and pay a deposit of £11. £10 goes towards your meal and the remaining £1 helps cover PayPal and Meetup fees. Please note that Meetup also charge a small additional fee as the 'booking agent' that allows this group to take reservations.
(I may be able to negotiate some additional spaces with the restaurant if you wish to come but spaces are all taken - message me if this is the case).
Please also note, if you are new to the group, we always split the bill evenly between all who attend.
It will be great to welcome new faces as well as welcome back familiar ones. So, if you would like to come along, RSVP before the spaces go.
