For nearly sixteen years between 1757 and 1775, Benjamin Franklin – scientist, diplomat, philosopher, inventor, Founding Father of the United States and more – lived at 36 Craven Street. While he may have been in London as chief colonial diplomat, his time here encompassed much more than politics.

Discover Franklin’s life through the immersive Historical Experience, where the 18th century spaces serve as a stage for a drama that seamlessly blends live interpretation and audio-visual projection to tell the rich story of Franklin in London.

Date & Time: Saturday, September 6th, 2 pm (Ticketed slot)
1.15 pm (optional): Meet in Caffè Concerto Northumberland Avenue.
2.00 pm: Enter the exhibition together.
3.45 pm – Late (optional): Pub social at Sherlock Holmes, 10 Northumberland St, for drinks and chat.
