H is for… Handel Hendrix House 🎸🎻
Details
Join us on Saturday 31st January at Handel Hendrix House, near Bond Street, to step inside the London homes of two musical legends.
This beautifully restored house on Brook Street celebrates the lives and music of
George Frideric Handel, who lived at 25 Brook Street from 1723 until his death in 1759, and
Jimi Hendrix, who moved into the adjoining flat at 23 Brook Street in 1968.
The museum presents Handel’s home as he would have known it, and the bedroom of Jimi’s flat recreated as closely as possible using historical photographs and the personal testimony of those who knew him at the time.
There are also immersive exhibitions exploring:
🎻 Handel’s music and the musicians he worked with
🎸 Jimi Hendrix’s life and musical legacy
⏳ London in the 18th century and the 1960s
✨ The extraordinary cultural worlds these two artists shaped
From Baroque to rock, Handel Hendrix House is a unique testament to two artists who chose London as their home, and changed music forever.

* Once all the spaces are taken, Meetup adds you to the Waitlist. If someone drops out, waitlisted attendees are automatically moved to the 'Going' list by Meetup in order of priority.
* If you can no longer attend, please change your RSVP to 'Not Going' as soon as possible, so someone on the waitlist can take your place.
We REMOVE members from the LoMAZ Meetup group who:
* RSVP as ‘Going' but then do not show up three times in a row.
* RSVP as ‘Going' but then change their RSVP to 'No' five times in a row.
* Are on the Waitlist or who have not RSVPd, but turn up anyway.
