About us
Hello,
Welcome to London Nature Walks, Travel and Socials (previously London Nature Walks and Socials )
I recently had the honour to take on this group in late March 2026. I am B, love all things, travel, walking, people and places. Looking to apply myself better in engaging with those. A Business Consultant and Chartered Accountant by training, per work. I owned a Travel business many years ago and set up one of the largest travel meetup groups around from zero in 2015 and grew it to five figure global membership by 2020.
I am also an Online Instructor on Udemy by the way.
I will be posting in the discussion section regularly and create events to enable us meet up face to face – walking, events, travel, social.
The essence of my participation is to get to meet new people, learn about them, see new places and fitness. I will stick to these as much as possible.
Please, I want to encourage as many of us as possible to consider participating as well. I welcome your contributions, suggestions and definitely your events.
Will put up a few events in the coming weeks.
I have been part of large groups in my time and organiser for a few and I, where possible, will not be physically collecting payments for events (where possible). I will put up posts and will use some of my affiliate partnerships as a way of getting something apart from the above-mentioned returns for the time, plus effort.
Two of those include:
- A family member was going abroad and high roaming charges consideration led us to Holafly https://tinyurl.com/HolaflyeSimLTMG: global eSim, fixed cost, get 15% off using my link.
- When I travel, I use Trip.com as I find they provide significant value for money and some on platform loyalty points. Check them out here: https://tinyurl.com/TripLTMG
I hope this meets you well and look forward to engaging with as many people as possible on here in the coming months.
I realise this direction might not be for everyone who joined this group over the years and would be sad to see anyone leave. However, one plea, give us a month or two and by then hope you’ll have a clearer perspective of where things are going and if you still leave, hope we’ll see you back in future.
Many thanks and looking forward to meeting as many of us as possible in the coming weeks and months.
Best regards,
B
