What we’re about
A group for all genders that meets regularly to meditate nude together. The idea is not for professional facilitation of workshops, just a simple group for like-minded people to get together and experience communal nudity through mindfulness practice. Also to host regular discussion about our relationships with our bodies, providing a safe space for people to share and be supported in their journey to loving their body. In this society that makes it so challenging to have a good relationship with our bodies, let's band together to witness each other's unconditional humanity, to place our attention on our own body and each other's bodies with loving kindness.
Practice will mostly be meditation and discussion, but we may decide to include other exercises involving movement and consensual nonsexual touch. These will be clearly outlined in the event descriptions and participants are free to sit out anything that they do not wish to partake in.
People who are new to nudism may keep underwear on, as well as people for whom exposing genitalia or breasts causes gender dysphoria or triggers trauma. However, the aim of these sessions is to lean into any discomfort we may have around our bodies, and so if you choose not to participate in the full nudity, we trust you to be working towards it on your journey to body acceptance, and that you are open minded to trying it in the future. We are here to provide a safe space for you to push beyond your comfort zone at your own pace.
