The Joyful Life

In this interactive online workshop, we’ll explore the expectations we bring into our relationships - often without even realising they are there - and how they can shape the quality of our relationships and our lives.

Many of our expectations operate beneath the surface. They can arise from past experiences, family patterns and archetypes, cultural norms, previous relationships, and the stories we have formed about ourselves and others.

Without consciously choosing them, these expectations can influence what we want from others, how we interpret their behaviour, and how we respond when our needs or expectations are not met.

In this workshop, we’ll look at how expectations arise, how our minds perceive and interpret other people, and how our expectations play out in our relationships.

Through meditative practices and guided inquiry practice, you’ll have the opportunity to explore some of the expectations you may bring into your relationships, as well as those that others may place upon you.

We’ll explore how mindfulness, self-awareness and emotional healing can help us recognise these patterns, understand their impact, and create healthier, more joyful and more conscious ways of relating to each other.

This workshop is intentionally kept small to create an intimate space for reflection, exploration and sharing.
