What we’re about
This is a group for anyone interested in 8 or 16-bit computing. The focus is on retro computers (modern implementations of old computers) but we'll happily talk about historical machines as well. If you have an RC2014, Z80-MBC2, LiNC80 or any other retro computer or are interested in old processors (Z80, 6502, 68000 etc) this may be the group for you. The group covers hardware, software, OS and programming. We'll focus on informal meetups but may include more formal presentations if there's a desire for it and we have willing speakers.

I first attended EMF Camp in 2022 and it was a blast!
It runs every two years so the next event is May 31st–June 2nd 2024 and I thought it would be good to get in early to see if we can get a group of Retro Computing Enthusiasts (and maybe some robot geeks from our sister group https://www.meetup.com/robohack/ ) together over a weekend.

Having experienced it last year I'll probably be doing some volunteering next year.Although the event doesn't formally start until 31st May the site is open from 30th May which is when I'll be aiming to arrive
