🗣️ The Unfinished Guide to Career Changing in Scala

Are you thinking about switching to a career in Scala? Just starting out and looking for guidance? Or maybe you’re an experienced Scala developer excited to share your journey and support others? Wherever you are on your path, we’d love for you to join us at the second Women in Scala event!

This event is all about connection, collaboration, and community. Expect lively discussions, knowledge sharing, and the chance to meet other Scala enthusiasts — from career changers and juniors to seasoned developers.

We’ll kick things off with an interactive presentation: “A Guide to Career Changing in Scala” — but here’s the twist: this guide is unfinished. That’s where you come in! Through conversation and shared experiences, we’ll shape it together, creating a resource that reflects the wisdom and insights of the community.

Whether you’re looking for advice, or a chance to give back and help others grow, this is your opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of Women in Scala events. Let’s build something great — and have some fun while we’re at it!

⭐ Speaker ⭐
Amy Lee is a Scala developer who transitioned into tech from a philosophy background. She started in tech support at an EV charging startup, learning Scala on the job and moving into engineering. Now, she works on a convertible bonds trading application as a front office developer. She’s excited to connect with others on their career change journey and help foster the Women in Scala community.

Please note that you must identify as a woman in order to attend this event.
