About us
This is a group for those 40+ who want good company, decent conversation, and events that don't require you to stand in a queue behind a 24-year-old in a crop top.
I set up this group because even though London has six million people, it can feel like a lonely place with little sense of community. I want to do my bit to help change that.
We do picnics, pub evenings, cultural outings, and whatever else sounds like a good idea at the time. Low pressure. No awkward icebreakers. Just grown-ups, doing things together.
If you're new to the city, newly single, newly unbothered, or just looking for people who get the references, you're in the right place.

The focus of this group is friendship and community building. This is a proudly consent-led space.
It is natural for people to meet, develop friendships that may turn into something more. Please be mindful that asking for contact details for someone you just met may not be appreciated.
Not everyone will want to connect outside of events.
