## Event Details: Friday Late Social

Join us for an electrifying Friday Late at V&A South Kensington. This monthly event (held on the last Friday, except January, May, and December) transforms the museum into a vibrant hub of contemporary culture, featuring live performances, interactive installations, thought-provoking talks, and pulsating DJ sets. It’s the perfect blend of art, music, and social connection! 🎭🎤

### What to Expect:

• Art & Inspiration: Wander through the V&A’s breathtaking galleries, showcasing everything from Renaissance sculptures to modern couture, all illuminated under the magic of late-night vibes.
• Live Performances & DJs: Groove to eclectic beats from top DJs and experience boundary-pushing performances by emerging artists.
• Interactive Workshops: Engage in hands-on activities, from crafting your own designs to joining thought-provoking discussions.
• Social Vibes: Meet new friends, spark conversations, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. 🤝
• Optional Scavenger Hunt: Embark on a thrilling V&A Scavenger Hunt (see below) to uncover hidden gems and compete for fun prizes! 🕵️‍♀️

• Free for the first sign-ups secure your spot early!
• After the free allocation you will have to buy your RSVP through the meetup app. Please show your RSVP on the meetup app to the host on arrival.

### Schedule:

• 6:45 PM – Meet & Mingle: Gather at the Porter Gallery entrance in the DOME room. Enter via the Cromwell Road entrance, head to the circular reception area (now a lively bar), and look left. From Exhibition Road, ask an attendant for the Porter Gallery. Enjoy drinks, chat, and soak in the atmosphere for 30 minutes. 🍹
• 7:15 PM – Explore or Stay: Choose your adventure! Split into small groups to explore Friday Late events (pop-up performances, installations, or talks) or stay in the DOME room to keep mingling. 🗺️
• 9:15 PM – Reconvene: Regroup at the DOME room meeting point to share your evening’s highlights.
• 9:25 PM – Afterparty: Head to Dolce Kensington (17A Harrington Rd, SW7 3ES, near South Kensington station). Mention “ZEN” at the door and bring ID for free entry until 11 PM but turn up at start time 9:30pm. Dance the night away! 💃🕺

### Optional V&A Scavenger Hunt 🕵️‍♂️

Add excitement with our V&A Scavenger Hunt! Perfect for groups or solo explorers, this challenge takes you through the galleries to uncover hidden treasures.

• How It Works: Grab a clue sheet at the DOME room bar during the meet-up.
• Clues & Challenges: Solve clues leading to iconic objects, like a 16th-century tapestry, a Victorian jewel, or a quirky modern design. Snap selfies with each find! 📸
• Sample Clues:
• Find the “Samson Slaying the Philistine” sculpture and mimic its pose for a photo.
• Locate a piece of jewelry in the Jewellery Gallery inspired by nature—what animal is it?
• Discover an 18th-century textile in the Fashion Gallery—what’s the boldest color?
