Code Refactoring Dojo

We're hosting a refactoring-based Coding Dojo in Codurance’s London office in Farringdon. Join us for an evening of coding, food and drinks! Come and code along, share ideas, discuss best practices and learn from LSCC and Codurance coders.

What’s the format?
We’re going to start with a presentation, diving into some methods we can use to refactor our code, and generally keep it clean.

After the presentation, we’ll get into groups/pairs or work solo, whatever people feel most comfortable with, and start working on a code refactoring challenge.

You choose how you want to work and what language you want to code in (for this challenge we have a limit of what languages are available, but it’s quite large so it’s unlikely your choice won’t be covered). This session is about collaborating with others, becoming a better developer and building your network, in a fun, relaxed environment.

We'll be sharing ideas, discussing best practices and using this as an opportunity to learn from our fellow LSCC coders.

Pizza and drinks will be provided, with vegetarian and vegan options available. All you need to do is bring a machine if you’d like to code along.
