What we’re about
As the world moves on, we wake each day to a reality which is more and more online, with increased communication through technology, less in person interaction and increasing lonliness and mental health issues. This has meant we're leaving behind the beautiful parts of our lives which come from community, from seeing each others' faces, interacting, reacting and belonging, more and more out of reach.
Stories have been in the fabric of our lives for thousands of years. From caveman drawings, to spritiual texts, to movies, music, books, poerty, we all love hearing a great story.
London Storytelling aim to create a new story for the path ahead. We challenge every situation taking us away from each other and say, let's come together. Let's meet up face to face and help each other be seen and heard. Let's share the most important part of being human, our stories. It's these stories that are the golden thread of human connection. Maybe you'll inspire someone, maybe they will resonate with you, maybe they will cry or laugh with you.
