June 22nd 2023
18.00 – 19.00
Online Webinar

As a transgender person learning to deal with dysphoria is key to living a life of peace. In this webinar we will show you how to bring that tranquillity into your own life.

Gender dysphoria is the experience of distress or discomfort with your body's sex characteristics or the gender role assigned to you. It's something that is experienced differently by everyone and can change over time.

In this webinar, led by DK Green, A transman and Therapeutic Counsellor, we will uncover the root causes of Dysphoria and will give you ways to manage your thoughts and improve how you view the world. We will explore several strategies you can use to understand how you are feeling and cope with any dysphoria you are facing.

Not just for trans folks, DK will also discuss ways that as a trans supporter you can help your loved one come to terms with their feelings and give yourself the tools you need to stay strong.

Bonus: DK will also be on hand to answer your questions live.

This is a rare opportunity to listen to a Trans Counselling Professional with years of experience helping people be the best version of themselves.

Every little step towards happiness will bring the joy and contentment you are seeking. Come and join us and uplift your spirit and feel better about life.

'What is Trans Joy?' - Filming participants needed!

East London

So, we’re working on a new project…

AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We’re making a documentary (or three) this summer and would love for you to be a part of it!

To start with, filming in a studio space in East London we’re asking people the question: ‘What is Trans Joy?’

What are we doing:
We want to help change the media narrative surrounding trans people, so instead of cis television personalities reacting to whatever is happening in the news of the week… We’re making a film where we get the chance to tell our own stories. Continuing our work with The Gender Hormone Clinic; we’re working on a series of short documentaries entitled:

‘What is Trans Joy?’

‘What is Gender Euphoria / Dysphoria?’

‘What is Trans Pride?’

The latter two films will be shot at both The Gender Hormone Clinic and Trans Pride Brighton respectively. We’ll be putting up new listings for them when we’re ready to tell you more about them.

The details:
If you’re interested, sign up for the event and we’ll be in touch with a time for you to be filmed. We’re hoping to interview as many people as we can throughout the day, with each appointment taking around 20 minutes. We’ll ask a few warm up questions before getting to the main event. We want to hear about your experiences with joy since joining this community, so do be sure to have a bit of a think about that before arrival.

Location details will also be sent out nearer the time, but if you’re able to get to anywhere in East London (think Poplar, Stratford) then you should be able to make the day.

Who is this for:
This is for any trans person or trans supporter who’s looking to have their voice heard. We’ll be filming with a very small/all trans crew, and have spaces from 10am till 6pm.

You’ll be welcomed and greeted by your host before meeting the rest of the team. There is no need to be nervous. You'll be made to feel very welcome, you'll get a chance to meet other people like yourself and then get the chance to tell your story.

Wednesday July 5th 2023
18.00 – 19.00, London UK (GMT)
Live Zoom Webinar

Let’s explore the relationship between Intersex and Transgender folks.

Our assigned at birth gender can be a significantly more complex subject than just transgender. Gender incongruence is far more diverse and far more widespread than the media would have you believe. This webinar will uncover the truth and will help you understand just how enormous this subject really is.

Led by Debra Carroll-Beight, a highly qualified expert in gender diversity and the study of intersexed individuals, this webinar will begin by uncovering the history of intersex. We will discuss how this has become a medical topic, and we will uncover the vast spectrum of intersex people and how the focus has been shifted to intersex in children. Closely linked, but different to transgender we will uncover what is typically understood as intersexed, including the hidden biology and characteristics that are not visible on the outside.

BONUS: Debra will also take your questions live and will draw on her vast experience to leave no stone unturned.

### Who is this for:

This is an all-inclusive webinar, and you are welcome to join whether you are trans, you know someone who is trans, or you are just interested in the topic. We want to create an environment where learning and sharing is not just possible but encouraged.
