London Evening Walk

LONDON EVENING WALK

WEDNESDAY JULY 23rd

EMBANKMENT STATION

Start time: 6.30 pm

Finish time: Around 8.00 pm could be slightly earlier or later depends on group speed

Starting point: Outside Embankment station (same side as the river, by the steps at the foot of golden jubilee bridge)

Route: Will cross the bridge to the other side, continue along the queen's walk, heading west and follow the river to Battersea park. If we are faster than expected, we can continue to Clapham common.

End point: Either Battersea Park or Clapham Common

Length of the walk: Around1.5 hours

Landmarks: The London eye, St Thomas's hospital, Big Ben, Lambeth palace, Battersea power station, Battersea park, Clapham common
