Join us for a special weekend of chess at Pancras Square Library, King’s Cross on 30–31 May 2026.
After listening to feedback from our community, LWCC has moved from rapid events into a full classical congress format — giving women and girls more time to think, learn, build confidence, and enjoy competitive chess in a supportive environment.
Whether you are:

The weekend will include plenty of chess, analysis, socialising, coffee, and opportunities to meet other women in the chess community in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
We are also excited to share that LWCC has recently received grant support from The Chess Trust towards DGT live boards and equipment, helping us continue improving the quality and accessibility of women’s chess events. ♟️✨
