'The Four Parks' Treasure Hunt!

Come along on Sunday 24th April for a treasure hunt around in four of London's most famous parks: St James's Park, Green Park, Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens!

This was the Science Museum Treasure Hunt, but as the weather in late April is expected to be warm and sunny, we've opted to do an outdoor treasure hunt instead. Also ignore the number of RSVP's, this event was originally scheduled for March 2020.

About the treasure hunt
London is know for its parks and green spaces, with 40% of it being green and this treasure hunt will be set around four of its most famous parks - St James's Park, Green Park, Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens.

All of the parks are royal parks developed in the 16th-17th centuries, initially for deer hunting, but later 'gentlefolk' were given limited access.

All of them have lots of history!

How it works
We will be meeting up at 1:30pm, then you will be randomly divided into teams of 4 people (or you can choose your own team).

We will then give each team 15-20 written clues which you have to find the answers for. It's up to your team to work together to find the answers. You can answer them in any order and we will provide a map of the parks to help you. It's not a race, so you can take your time getting to know the area.

Prizes
The team to get the most correct answers and then return to base (an outdoor cafe) will win book vouchers for Waterstones bookshops of £10 per person.
If more than one team gets the top score, there will be a tie break question back at the cafe.
A £5 gift voucher per person will be given to each member of the team coming in second place and prizes will be given to each member of the team with the best team name.

Cost
We will be charging £6 per person to take part, apart from Full Members where it is free! (payable on the day).
