Come along on Saturday 2nd November for a haunted treasure hunt!

We are on the nearest Saturday to Halloween, so lets have a haunted and spooky treasure hunt. We will be starting later, so just as it starts to get dark!

**About the treasure hunt**
The treasure hunt is set around the historic Holborn area.

The clues will have a haunted theme as well as a historic theme and there might be a few surprises on the way round!

I'm also encouraging people to dress up in something scary (you can buy clothing items/masks in large branches of supermarkets as well as fancy dress shops) and there will be bonus points for the team whose members do dress up! So it could be the difference between winning or not.

**How it works**
We will be meeting up at 4:30pm, then you will be randomly divided into teams of 3 people (or you can choose your own team). Treasure hunts are a great way to meet and get to know others.

We will then give each team 16-18 written clues which you have to find the answers for. It's up to your team to work together to find the answers. You can answer them in any order and we will provide a map of the area to help you. It's not a race, so you can take your time getting to know the area.

**Prizes**
The team to get the most correct answers and then return to base (a pub) will win book vouchers for Waterstones bookshops of £10 per person.
If more than one team gets the top score, there will be a tie break question back at the pub.
A £5 gift voucher per person will be given to each member of the team coming in second place and prizes will be given to each member of the team with the best team name.

**Cost**
We will be charging £7 per person to take part (payable by cash on the day or PayPal), apart from Full Members where it is free!

To become a Full Member (£14 a year), either go to PayPal and send a payment to [general@cultureseekers.org](general@cultureseekers.org), send via Bank Transfer (email me for details) or pay cash on the day.

We will be marking the scores back at the pub at 6:45pm, so it should all be over by 7:00pm.
