Tour of the Royal Academy of Music!

Come along on Friday 20th June for a tour around the Royal Academy of Music!

About the academy
The Royal Academy of Music was founded in 1822 and is an institution of world renown, training nearly 700 students from over 50 countries in over 20 musical disciplines.

It's Museum has three permanent galleries, alongside regularly changing displays and exhibitions. Together they cover an array of eras, instruments and subjects, from the finest 17th-century Cremonese violins to the cast of a 20th-century conductor’s hand.

The tour will last about 1 hour, where we will have demonstrations of instruments being played by some of the students, before we can then explore the museum.

Afterwards
After we will head to 'The Albany pub', 240 Great Portland Street, at 3pm for a chat over a drink.

If you can make it, please come to the pub afterwards, as it’s a great way to meet and get to know others after the visit.

Please note, we only wait outside the station for 10 minutes after the advertised meeting time, so please be early or on time.
