Sunday Afternoon in Richmond - relaxing walk along the river & in the park!

Come along on Sunday 26th July for an afternoon in Richmond!

About the visit
When we arrive, we will walk to see the remains of Richmond Palace, Trumpeter's House, then along the river and loop back into Richmond park and finish not far from the station.

Richmond is an affluent residential district bordering the River Thames. Known for Richmond Park, where you can see deer and its history linked to royalty.

The visit should last about 2 hours. The visit is part social walk/part guided.

Cost
The event is free for Full Members, £7 for everyone else.

Travel
Richmond is in Zone 4, you can get their via train or tube. Trains going to Richmond from Waterloo at 12:39pm, 12:44pm, 12:58pm, 1:09pm, 1:14pm. Or its at the end of the District Line.

Afterwards
After we will head to the 'Sun Inn pub', 17 Parkshot at about 4pm for a chat over a drink.

If you can, please come to the pub afterwards, as its a great way to meet others after the visit.

Please note, we only wait outside the station for 10 minutes after the advertised meeting time, so please be early or on time.
