Come along on Sunday 6th December to visit the new London Museum!
About the museum
The London Museum (used to be called the Museum of London) has been closed for 4 years whilst it relocated to Smithfield.
Its now reopening in November 2026 and will be substantially bigger than where it used to be in the Barbican.
Its new home uncovers thousands of years of London's history, from prehistoric beginnings to the present day. We will be able to explore the galleries and encounter remarkable, never-before-seen objects.

Entry is free and the visit is self-guiding. It will be busy, so to guarantee entry, you will need to book a free ticket at the link below:
Become a Full Member
To become a Full Member (£14 a year) either:
- Pay cash at an event
- Pay via Bank Transfer (TSB Bank plc, Sort code: 77-66-65, Account no:
00030809, Account name: Cultureseekers)
- Pay via credit card on the day or in advance (https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/QHZ1Y3UB)
- go to PayPal - https://www.paypal.com/uk/, then click on 'Pay & Get Paid‘, then click on 'Send Money’, put in the email address: general@cultureseekers.org in the 'Send Money' box, then 'Next' and then enter the amount to pay. Click 'Next', then 'For Friends & Family', then 'Continue'

Afterwards
After we will head to 'Temperance Cocoa Rooms' which is inside the museum, for a chat over a drink.
If you can make it, please come to the pub afterwards, as it’s a great way to meet and get to know others after the visit.
Please note, we will only wait at the station for 10 minutes after the advertised meeting time so please be early or on time.
Look out for the red & blue 'London Cultureseekers' group sign outside the station.
