This is a tutor led class- with our tutor drawing along with everyone, talking about their drawing process and answering questions. We are all about the drawing process and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels supported in a ‘studio’ experience- join us for life drawing thats all about drawing! Expect a fine art event – curated visuals and unique performances- a friendly crowd, good vibes and encouraging tuition- and some great life drawing exploration London Drawing style! –

We have changed our ticket system to contribution based- this is because the fee that Eventbrite charges for set price tickets has increased and become unmanageable, the fee is a lot less or contribution based tickets. As numbers have reduced its getting harder to cover costs- so hopefully this adjustment will help.
The contribution we suggest per session in order for us to cover costs is £14- a 12p booking fee will be added at check out - we hope that as a tutor led, carefully managed class with a curated selection of national and international models - this represents great value for money.
Your ticket fee allows us to pay models and tutors and cover running and administration costs for classes. Life drawing classes have a value- just like any other service- please respect this.

Join Concept artist, director and designer Kan Muftic for an intimate journey into his creative process- in this exclusive two part online intensive.

How do you capture the essence of physicality and character? How do you express narratives and infuse your drawings with imagination and expression?

This course will explore how to move beyond technical drawing into expressing narratives and embodying characters through process and gesture. Experiment with markmaking and mediums to build confidence in imaginative drawing. Learn how to develop characters and to push your compositions into more bold and exciting territory-
Kan will inspire you to take risks with your drawing – and develop your own unique creative style with strong emotional depth-
and find your own creative drawing language.

More about Kan:
Kan Muftic was born in 1976 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he attended the Academy or Fine Arts from 1991-92. In April 1992 he left Sarajevo due to violent political conflict in his country. During his time as a refugee he helped his father with anti-war propaganda, creating illustrations and posters. After moving to Zurich in Switzerland, Kan attended the F+F School for Art and Media design, graduating in painting.
Kan has worked on film, television and games projects for the past decade, for companies including the Moving Picture Company, Rocksteady Studios and Axis. His credits include Jungle Book (2018), Godzilla, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Batman and Arkham series and many more. He is currently directing for Netflix.

Recordings will be sent out after each class- and you will have access for 6 weeks after the class to rewatch/ rewind/ pause and catch up

This is a general life drawing class with tuition for beginners and advice for those who are more experienced, all designed to encourage you to develop your own style and approach.
