Vaulty Towers really is a very special venue with a wonderful atmosphere- walk through the main bar with its glittery décor and down the little staircase into the twinkly hideaway downstairs where the life drawing magic happens!

As with all our drop in classes- expect professional tutors and models in an inspiring and unique space. With poses from 30 seconds to one hour- there is something for everyone. This is a general life drawing class with tuition for beginners and advice for those who are more experienced, all designed to encourage you to develop your own style and approach.

# Life Drawing & Painting Summer School: 4-6 August 2025

Three great days of life drawing and painting in our Liverpool Street Studio with London Drawing founder Anne Noble-Partridge

Now in its 17th year – our Life Drawing and Painting summer schools are a brilliant chance to really immerse yourself in working from the model. Starting with drawing, we work through exercises and processes which hone your observational skills to build your confidence in a range of mediums- approaching mark making and gesture as well as the more technical side of drawing, moving into tone and colour using pastels.
We will build a painting using acrylics to plan out your composition, then move into painting in oils.

Each section of the process will feature in depth demonstrations – backed up with lots of one to one tuition.

This really is the perfect life drawing and painting experience- great for beginners and an excellent refresher for those with more experience. Groups are small, so you can work with the tutor to take the sessions to your level- with lots of great practical demonstrations and plenty of one to one tuition and feedback you really can take this to your own level
