Join Concept artist, director and designer Kan Muftic for an intimate journey into his creative process- in this exclusive two part online intensive.

How do you capture the essence of physicality and character? How do you express narratives and infuse your drawings with imagination and expression?

This course will explore how to move beyond technical drawing into expressing narratives and embodying characters through process and gesture. Experiment with markmaking and mediums to build confidence in imaginative drawing. Learn how to develop characters and to push your compositions into more bold and exciting territory-
Kan will inspire you to take risks with your drawing – and develop your own unique creative style with strong emotional depth-
and find your own creative drawing language.

More about Kan:
Kan Muftic was born in 1976 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he attended the Academy or Fine Arts from 1991-92. In April 1992 he left Sarajevo due to violent political conflict in his country. During his time as a refugee he helped his father with anti-war propaganda, creating illustrations and posters. After moving to Zurich in Switzerland, Kan attended the F+F School for Art and Media design, graduating in painting.
Kan has worked on film, television and games projects for the past decade, for companies including the Moving Picture Company, Rocksteady Studios and Axis. His credits include Jungle Book (2018), Godzilla, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Batman and Arkham series and many more. He is currently directing for Netflix.

Recordings will be sent out after each class- and you will have access for 6 weeks after the class to rewatch/ rewind/ pause and catch up
