About us

The London Jazz Guitar Society was started to develop and support the community of jazz guitarists across London and surrounding areas.
Since 2010 we have presented masterclasses with such major musicians as Howard Alden, Sheryl Bailey, Peter Bernstein, Bobby Broom, Steve Cardenas, Pasquale Grasso, Gilad Hekselman, Jonathan Kreisberg, Jim Mullen, Miles Okazaki, Mike Outram, Nigel Price, Brad Shepik, Rotem Sivan, Yotam Silberstein and John Wheatcroft.
We send a monthly newsletter at the start of each month listing events and gigs of interest, and new recordings featuring our members and friends, as well as sharing interesting content over on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Membership of this group is free for the first 30 days, following which there is a modest membership fee of $20 per year, which works out at approximately £1.45 per month. This helps to meet the operating costs of the Meetup page and contribute towards improving the quality of our in-person events.
