Masterclass with Jesse Van Ruller (a virtual event)

One of our favourite guitarists, Jesse van Ruller, joins us from Amsterdam on Zoom for a rare public workshop.

Since winning the Thelonious Monk Competition in 1995, Jesse has been recognised as one of the most remarkable musicians on our instrument to emerge in recent decades.

He has recorded extensively with the cream of both the American and European jazz scenes, in settings ranging from organ quartets, big bands and his more recent Chambertones trio of guitar/bass/bass clarinet.

Jesse is a long-time faculty member at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and maintains a busy performing schedule in the Netherlands.

Jesse was last in the UK in May 2018, when he gave an inspiring workshop for us, so we're very happy to collaborate with him again!

A link to the Zoom session will be emailed to attendees on the day of the workshop.

"Early-bird" pricing for this workshop is £15 until 11.55pm on 12 December. After that, the price will be £20.
