Building bebop lines with Ofer Landsberg

We welcome back to London the fantastic bebop guitarist Ofer Landsberg, who is visiting for the first time since moving abroad in 2019.

This workshop is open to all instruments and will be of value to anyone with an interest in the teachings/methods of Barry Harris and building authentic bebop lines.

Ofer Landsberg is one of my favourite musicians and a specialist in the bebop style. He studied in person for several years with the legendary NYC pianist and educator Barry Harris, and Ofer's approach to teaching the music is very much based on the Barry Harris system. When Ofer was based in London a few years ago, I took a number of private and group lessons with him and got a lot from them. If you're interested in Barry Harris or learning how to build authentic bebop lines, this is the workshop for you.

You will need to bring your instrument but there is no need for amplification.

I would recommend that you are able to play major and dominant scales, from the root to the seventh, in a number of areas and registers of your instrument, in order to get the most of our time together.
