Flashcards

Hi folks

At the last meetup a couple of people asked me about the flashcards I was using. I'm posting the details here in case it's of some use.

The flash cards are "Chinese in a Flash" by Philip Yungkin Lee. Published by Tuttle Publishing.

The set I had in the pub was only a quarter of the cards in the pack. There are 448 cards in total containing a total of 1792 compounds as well as the basic words. Each card has the characters in both simplified and traditional forms as well as an example sentence.

Remember the next dinner meetup is next Wednesday at Lao di fang. The service is variable but the food is excellent and comes in large portions.

Hope to see you on the 24th.

Dave
