The London Underground isn’t just a transit system - it’s an ever-moving canvas of light, motion, and atmosphere. This workshop is designed for photographers who are keen to learn the magic of long exposure using Platypod, a compact and versatile tool perfect for stabilising shots in places where tripods aren't allowed.
Today you'll create mesmerizing images in London’s underground stations. This session will provide hands-on guidance in camera settings and creative techniques to transform mundane commutes into breath-taking photographic stories.
We'll provide Platypods for you to use and have the perfect setup to experiment and get some creative shots. Get ready to see the underground in a whole new light!
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Understand long exposure: master shutter speed, aperture & ISO
- Utilise Platypod for steady, low-angle perspectives
- Harness motion blur and light streaks
- Add drama, motion and depth to your photography

- Any lens such as a standard 18-55/24-70mm or wider
