This shoot in the style workshop focuses on the incredible work of MARTIN PARR. To honour his life and work we are taking a day trip to the seaside town of Brighton when we'll find familiar Parr scenes.

Martin Parr's work embodies a classic "love-hate relationship" with Britain, with a sharp eye to capture both the endearing traditions and the awkward, consumerist, or divisive aspects, often through wry humour, parody, and whilst exploring complex national identity and social quirks.

Join us for a session that will help build your knowledge of some of the greatest photographers in recent history. You will learn who they were, what they did and why they are important. You will also learn to understand their style of photography which will potentially allow you to see things a little differently.

You’ll have loads of fun while working through a set of exercises to help hone your eye and shoot in the style of Martin Parr.

We will also have a chance to shoot the starlings over Brighton pier at sunset :)
