In this workshop we explore portraiture photography - learn to see light, work with shadows, and bring out the best in both our subjects and the environment.

The thing about shooting portraits is that they are super fun! So our challenge today is knowing how to make people look good and shoot in a creative way.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

• Develop an intuitive understanding of light and how it interacts with your subject
• Experiment with shadows to add depth, drama and emotion to your portraits
• Improve your ability to adapt to changing lighting conditions
• Learn how to guide and connect with your subject

Would you like to learn to use your camera properly and get the shots you want by choice and not by accident? Attending this small group workshop will give you a strong understanding of the essentials needed to get the results you're looking for.

This session will include theory and practical exercises to apply what you have learned. By the end of this session you forget about only getting great results by accident, and feel confident that you understand how to get your camera to do what you want!

PAYMENT OPTIONS

It is soon to be that time of year again! Whether you are an ardent royalist or just want to let out your inner paparazzi, this annual parade is the ideal event for you to practice crowd and action shots.

The parade goes from the Palace to Horseguard's Parade then back again giving you two chances to shoot the procession. It is followed by the flypast at 1300hrs watched by the King from the Palace balcony.

We will be meeting EARLY to have the best chance of getting a place to shoot at the front of the parade. While we are waiting we can photograph people and preparations before it all starts.

• 200-300mm lens for balcony shots (if you have one)
