Beachy Head and the Red Arrows Air Show!!! 2 in 1!!!

Join us for a photo-trip to the beautiful white chalk cliffs around Beachy Head, part of the South Downs. One of the spectacular places in Britain, the 531 ft white chalk cliffs of Beachy Head, with its two lighthouses, offer a great opportunity for photographers.

The day will involve photographing both lighthouses and the cliffs. From the cliffs we should be able to see some of the Eastbourne Air show where your telephoto will come in handy! After we finish we will head towards the beach where we'll be able to photograph the fabulous Eastbourne Airshow where the RED ARROWS will be performing.

IMPORTANT!
We will be walking approximately 2 miles on what is considered to be a moderate walk. Please do not attend if you have any walking issues.

JOURNEY DETAILS

• Train London Victoria to Eastbourne (not included)
• Depart London 0846hrs
• Arrive Eastbourne 1011hrs
• We suggest an open return ticket and expect the day to end around 1600-1700hrs

Bus journey

• Bus from Eastbourne to our location (not included)
• Approximately £3.20 each way

EQUIPMENT:

• Any camera
• Any lens such as a 24-70, 24-105 etc, a wide for landscapes and a telephoto to shoot the any of the airshow we may see

OTHER ESSENTIALS

• Check the local weather and dress accordingly
• Good walking shoes
• Waterproof clothing
• A hat
• Sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• A fun and experimental attitude!
