Nestling amongst rolling hills and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Cornwall attracts people from all over the world with its miles of golden sands, clear waters, spectacular cliff walks and famous surf. Come and discover some hidden gems of its wonderful coastal walks with us on this exciting three-day Easter bank holiday trip to the Atlantic coast of North Cornwall!

- Superb Lusty Glaze, Great Western and Tolcarne sandy beaches – all within a 5-10 minute walk from our hotel in Newquay
- Fistral Beach – Cornwall's most famous spot for watching the sunset
- Lizard Point – the most southerly point in Britain
- Spectacular views of the majestic St Michael's Mount. This tidal island can be reached by an ancient, cobbled causeway, which only opens at low tide and is covered by the sea at high tide
- Dramatic cliff scenery and wonderful cliff-top views of small offshore islands, rocky stacks, arches and Mullion Island
- White sand and turquoise sea at the exceptionally beautiful Kynance Cove
- Cornwall's best local and traditional delicacies: fresh seafood 🦞, Cornish pasties 🥐, cream tea 🥧, Cornish ice cream 🍦, etc.
ITINERARY
Day 1 – Saturday:
06:45 Meet outside Hotel Novotel London West, 1 Shortlands, W6 8DR (a five-minute walk from Hammersmith Station)
07:00 Sharp departure
13:30-18:30 Cliff-top hike from Porthcothan Beach to Porth Beach via Bedruthan Steps (difficulty: Moderate, distance: 14km, ascent: 450m)
18:45 Check-in at Premier Inn Newquay Seafront Hotel
19:00 Free time for dinner and exploring Newquay's beaches. Please book a table in advance for 19:30 if you prefer to eat out. Recommended: Ginger & Joe, Butcher's Bistro (both close to the hotel), Fish House Fistral (the best seafood restaurant in Cornwall, next to Fistral Beach, a 30-minute walk from the hotel).
Day 2 – Sunday:
07:00 Breakfast
08:00 Departure
09:00-13:00 Hike from Mullion Cove to Lizard Point via Kynance Cove (difficulty: Easy, distance: 12km, ascent: 370m)
13:00-14:30 Lunch in Lizard village, free time to buy souvenirs
15:00-15:45 Stop at Roskilly's Ice Cream Farm, one of Cornwall's best known ice cream makers
16:30 Back to our hotel, free time in Newquay (low tide around 5 PM – it's the best time to head to the beach). Please book a table in advance if you prefer to eat out for dinner.
Day 3 – Monday:
07:00 Breakfast

09:30-12:30 Hike from Land's End to Porthcurno Beach (difficulty: Easy, distance: 9km, ascent: 220m)
13:00-14:30 Lunch in Marazion, next to the iconic Cornish landmark of St Michael’s Mount
14:30 Departure
21:00 London, Hammersmith
TRANSPORT
As on most of our trips, we'll travel in a comfortable 16-seater minibus.
LUGGAGE
You can bring two small bags with you: one cabin size personal item bag (up to 10kg) and one smaller hiking backpack to fit under the seat. During the hike, you can leave your luggage in the minibus.

- Suitable hiking shoes with ankle support
- Waterproof and windproof jacket and trousers (if there is a chance of rain)
